Hi! I am Raquel, a Videographer and Photographer with my heart beating between visual and performing arts.

My training in different artistic fields allows me to have a more holistic view of creative action, this being the aspect that I enjoy most of my work. I consider each project unique and seek for the right combination of the resources I have in order to develop it. Setting from scratch a message and a transmission language for each project is a very stimulating professional challenge of great personal value.

My dance background has a great influence on my audiovisual production: aside from being the main topic of my work and gender in which I feel most comfortable, it allows me to understand movement and rhythm from a different perspective. Applying these qualities to any project is what defines my style and identity mark.

I believe that the success of my work comes from the client’s active implication in the creative process. Creating a space where they contribute with opinions and ideas, establishing a creative dialogue and involving them in decision-making is part of my working method.

Art is for me form of self-knowledge and a way of showing the world my vision of things. Enhancing beauty of what is given without manipulating it, is part of my artistic philosophy.
