Polaroid Images

94.16 are the cm² which has a polaroid; The definite and unalterable framework chosen to represent my world.

This project is supported by concepts such as “authenticity”, “instantaneity” and “aura”.
I find very interesting the imperfections which belong to this technique. There is something that can’t be controlled or altered from a polaroid. Every new photo you take is a surprise. You can never know what the final result will be, or what kind of imperfections the image will have when fully developed. So to say, “there’s something that escapes control.”

Each image represents a real moment that I have lived and captured with my camera (which I took daily with me for months). There are no images built or staged in this series. All images have a history behind, all have been taken as being representative of a sensation or emotion of the moment to which they belong and are testimony of a concrete, determined moment.

An instant that could have gone unnoticed easily; Moments of my day to day that could be forgotten, which are beautiful because I decide so.
